I am all about my new hot pink striped shoes today.

Working away on some larger wax paintings for a show in the gallery hallway at the new Providence Cancer Center here in Portland, OR. They will be up for quite some time. I'll be sure to post all images on Flickr.

Sometimes the light is so perfect in my studio, I am torn between being out in the sunshine and staying inside to work between the shadows...

Check out Hannah's tattoo ;) What a cutie. I think it is the sincerest form of flattery and appreciation when someone puts your artwork on their bod. I don't think I could have sat under a needle for that myself! Brave gal... Thanks Hannah!! Turned out beautifully!!

Cheese Bar! Simplicity is key. I'm making logos for the new Cheese Bar that will soon grace our presence roundabout SE 60th and Belmont. Run by my pal Steve Jones (of Steve's Cheese fame) and my newest pal Beachum. The best part: I'm getting partially paid in cheese and beer. Trade rules! The logos/sign are based le ol' charming Tabac signs of France. Can you picture the one below with neon (where the white striping is) and surrounded by little round white and yellow flashing bulbs? Me too.
